When ever it needs to be.How often should one re-paint the inside of their home?
Well I have 4 kids. Ages 9, 6, 4 and 1. About every 4 to 5 years we change their room carpet and color because they grow up ya know and like new things.How often should one re-paint the inside of their home?
Flat Paint in 3 years


Satin Paint in 3.5 years


Semi-Gloss in 5 years

If you got kids you might have to do it soon than later. To save yourself some money on re-painting with semi-gloss does hold up longer. I use in all the rooms. You can buy 1 gallon of flat paint and add 1 cup of cooking oil vegt type to your flat paint to give you semi-gloss. Save a couple bucks there.
three to five years.
never more than you have too. washable paints are the best choice. multiple paint layers, build up and messy painting around trim work only make it look more tacky than clean. at some point someone will have to resheetrock and install new trim to make it look nice again.
every three years is about right. but as often as you like realy all depends what colour and type of paint as some will dull and fand more quickly than others
