There are software programs that you could take pic inside you're house and then put them in the computer, and change the wall colors , floors etc. You can get it at Lowe's, called virtual Painter. its only 6 bucks. probably get it at other places too.I'm not a good decorator, how can i fix my home up i need ideas on choosing paint colors decorating ideas.
Check out colorsmart you can pick a color already in the room and it will show you coordinating color combinations.
Web sites, magaizines and check out books on decorating.
Get some home decorating magazines.
If you want to stay with the kitchen floor I would work with those colors, but don't use the exact colors but lighter shades of them. Though you could paint red with a brownish/green trim. Or put a new flooring in and start from there. It really depends on what you like; lite, dark, bright colors, or wall paper or wall trim. There are just so much you can do depending on how big your kitchen is and if it opens to the living-room to blend the colors with it. . . . . . . if you have the money you can hire someone to help, do the work, and/or advise you
Visit HGTV.com (home and garden television). They have a TON of ideas and before and after pics. Have fun!
i think same colour of paint and tiles in all rooms is a very good idea.. some nice ni8ghtlamps in some corners of the house would be great.. on a table you could have some floating candles surrounded with flower petals.
I get a lot of ideas from magazines, such as BHG %26amp; Country Home, or catalogs from Crate %26amp; Barrel or IKEA, whatever your style
depends on you taste, www.pier1imports.com. if working on a budget they have great sales.
