We have a 6 year old paint here at home, she is a pasture horse.?

While we were feeding her today we noticed that all four of her legs are swollen. Not even sure what it could be. She isn't limping, doesn't act like it bothers her at all. The only thing that is odd is her appetite. Although she eats everything she is extremely slow lately, she is usually the third done today she was last out of 9 horses. Any ideas? We have a 6 year old paint here at home, she is a pasture horse.?
If it was just one leg then it could be something as simple as a cut or sprain. In your horses case it is all four so I would be much more worried. One of the first things you should do is take her temperature. The next best thing to do is call the vet and tell then what is happening along with her temperature. She may have eaten something she shouldn't have and now it is effecting her. Call before it is too late or you may be kicking yourself later for not calling at first signs of her being not right.

this past week i have just dealt with one of my horses who has one swollen leg, i have found the best this for a horse is to be out in the pasture moving around so they can get circulation back in their legs, i also rubbed her with green cool (which is like a coolent for leg that help the heat come down and or blue lotion, both are excellent for swelling)

hope this helps and good luck :)
Is she old? Well maybe you should bring here to the vet that would be your safest bet. Cuz if she is really sick and its not hitting her yet it could spred and you dnt want your other nice horses to get sick so yeah just get her cheacked or like wash her down and watch her legs more carfuly. If it gets worse take her to the vet. I love horses so i would be parinoid and i would bring her in ahahhaa.
