What is the best paint brand for the interior of my new home?

I just bought a house and the walls are white. I have been doing some research and still do not know what paint brand to use. I want something that holds its color and is fairly easy to apply. Any help? What is the best paint brand for the interior of my new home?
The dollars spent on paint will definetly tell the quality. Cheap quality paint will cost between 12-20 dollars. Better goods you should plan on spending between 24-40 dollars a gallon. Brand is irrelevant. Sheen is up to you. Spend your money at a reputable dealer where you can get reliable service for your money spent. Good luck. What is the best paint brand for the interior of my new home?
i do a lot of painting and really like behr. an economical way to be able to use a good quality paint is to check the ';OOPS'; paint at Lowes and Home Depot. OOPS paint is a color that was mis-matched or mis-mixed for someone and you can get a gallon for $5. if you check a few stores you'll probably find a color that will work for you.
Sherwin Williams or Behr are both good choices. Ace paint is good too. The one thing to keep in mind is to use the same brand throughout the course of the whole job because even though they say they are the same, the bases from different brands will slightly differ causing the exact same mix to look different.
I've always used Behr paint from Home Depot. Just about every painter you talk to is going to tell you something different though. According to Consumer Reports, Behr is usually rated Number 1 and Lowe's paint Valspar is usually right up there with it.
I am an interior designer and I always go to Sherwin Williams paint...it is wonderful, colors are true and goes on like ';butter'; Love it
