How do I paint over wallpaper in a mobile home?

Although it can be done, it is really not advisable to paint over wallpaper. You will always see the seams in the wallpaper thru the paint.





Removing wallpaper really isn't that difficult - just peel off the picture part of the wallpaper and then wet the remaining paper with a spray bottle of water and then use a putty scraper to scrape off the wet paper and glue.


Then wash the walls with TSP (available at hardware and paint stores), let them dry and you are ready to paint.
