Accidentally put interior paint on the exterior of my home?

There was a mix up at the paint store I guess. There was existing exterior paint on the trim, I painted it today with interior paint - can I just put exterior paint over it or do I have to strip it off?Accidentally put interior paint on the exterior of my home?
You should be ok, especially if the paint was oil/solvent based rather than water based. Whenever you choose to repaint there is no need to strip this off.Accidentally put interior paint on the exterior of my home?
No problem. Over a number of years I have used interior paint outside and NEVER had a problem

I even used interior paint on a walkway which our Doberman uses

extensively and it has lasted for years.

And when I have paint cans with leftover paint I mix Exterior with Interior all the time. I am of the opinion that the difference in paint is price.
not a lot of difference between interior and exterior paints other than uv protection and some algaecides. just to be safe i would repaint with exterior paint at the paint stores expense and you should be fine.
The interior paint has no sunscreen (uv protection) in it. You will need to repaint it with exterior paint. The paint store should give you the paint if it is there fault
