minus the supplies.. what would be fair? thanksHow much should I charge to paint interior of a home? Ceilings, walls, and trim in all rooms?
If you can do a professional looking job when you bid the house, if it has normal size rooms, a good point to start would be 300.00 per room for two coats. Small bathrooms could be less, but bathrooms are sometimes more work because of the excessive amount of cutting in. Hope this helps..How much should I charge to paint interior of a home? Ceilings, walls, and trim in all rooms?
I would charge 15-20 dollars per hour, plus the cost of materials
if i am unable to give a bid per room, i charge $30 per hour.
and i'm still $15 per hour cheaper than most painters in my town.
Don't no where you live, but in NC it can range from $1.50 to 2.75 a square foot depending if the house is new or old, call a painter tell him you have a room that needs to be painted and ask for a price, P.S. if old home is old you might have to move furniture ,this makes a huge difference's.... lot more time moving stuff ,covering up, and moving back .. new home probably not
So much depends on where you are and the trim to wall ratio. If you're good, you should charge about 40 an hour for your time. Without seeing the size of the house and the amount of trim, it would be hard to give a set price.
no less than 75 a room, depending on how many sq feet the home is.
