Ace, Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, Wal-Mart, etc.Where can I find interior paint outlets or wholesale paint to use for painting my home?
Go to paint stores, sometime people have them mix a color and they do not like it. The store usually sell this at a lower price.Where can I find interior paint outlets or wholesale paint to use for painting my home?
First, unless you own a business, you will not be able to purchase materials at a wholesaler. That's the whole concept...they sell to painters at larger quantities and lower prices. Lowes and Home Depot both have bins will incorrect paint colors or paint someone has mixed and then it doesn't look like what they wanted, and these are sold at drastic markdowns. I'm not familiar with paint outlet stores, nor am aware of any available. WalMart carries Dutchboy paints at a pretty low price, and Kilz has a one-coat paint available that is low in cost. Also, you might check the possibility of using a tinted primer to offset the amount of paint you require.
Believe it or not Home depot I just look in the mis-matched paint. Summer is the best time to look .Have been able to paint my whole house for cheep with good quality paint.
Hope this helps
Diane
I see answers related to mis matched paint? That assumes you want to take what someone else didn't want. No offense meant to those answers.
Simply stated, paint is available at more locations than I want to list here. I paint for a living and you have many options.
Wholesale is more specific. You might need to actually be a painting contractor? You also don't specify the amount of paint you need or want.
I cannot recall the name, or how I found the organization, but I worked on a house in Oregon, and had to paint the rooms, among other tasks. The daughter of the owner bought the paint at an outlet, and was OK with her choices based on discussions that took place.
It may have been a city owned/government surplus situation??? You might check options within your local government,,, IE: supplies for schools or govt. offices purchased in bulk but possibly not entirely used in the quantity purchased by them. You can also ask the suppliers who do exist if they have outlets for discontinued formulas, colors, etc.
