Will using a insulation additive to paint really ';insulate'; your home?

I found this web site http://hytechsales.com/ and wanted to know if there were anyone in the remodling business that would know if it was worth spending the money on.Will using a insulation additive to paint really ';insulate'; your home?
If it sounds to good to be true, it is.Will using a insulation additive to paint really ';insulate'; your home?
Insulation comes from trapping air which helps to prevent thermal loss (or gain). I can not imagine any paint additive being able to trap enough air to make a significant difference.
sure there are several brands that will work go to your paint store to find one that suits you usually 50$ agallon to be added to 5 gallons I would spray it and put it on thick the one I use you have to remove the filters in the gun
There is considerable doubt about the insulation value (R-factors) of the so called insulation paints. Both fiberglas insulation bats and blown-in insulation have insulating properties that are well known and standardized.

Thermophysical Properties Research Laboratory, Inc. has posted some comments regarding some testing they have done on these products at: http://www.tprl.com/Stherm.htm

They include this comment: ';As usual , if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. Buyer beware !!';
