I want to know some names if possible. I don't know what to use for things like: frames, mirrors, shelves etc...Does anyone know what paint to use on home decor accents?

On wood, you can just use regular paint. The same kind you would use on the walls inside your house. If the wood has been painted or stained before, you need to sand it down thoroughly.
On metal, you can use spray paint, just make sure it says it can be used on metal on the label. Just clean it with a cloth beforehand.
Rustoleum makes spray paints that are very versatile ! Can be used on different surfaces, including metals.
There are also textured spray paints that are like stone or antique finishes.
