I have a small room next to my main room (my main room is light aqua with white accents) and I want to make that room a study room.
What are the best colors to color a study/office.
I thought about having light baby blue or a cream color.
Im scared to have a cream color because I don't want it to seem old white.
What do you suggest?
The room has only one window and is small.Color to paint a home study/office.?
i personally don't like cream, cuz like you said, the whole old white thing. a light baby blue or soft yellow or something like that would be great because it's very calming and peaceful, which is good for a study because it's supposed to be quiet and concentrated, if that makes sense =]Color to paint a home study/office.?
If the room is small, I would say lighter is better. With one window, it might feel dark othewise. The main room being aqua, I don't think light blue will blend as well as the cream.
hire an artist to paint a mural
(hint hint .... me!)
The light blue will look awful next to the aqua. What about a green from the same color palette as the aqua? The cream can be good, depending on the accesories. Use wood furniture to bring in color and accesories, like rug, wall art and desk stuff.
Orange is supposed to enhance concentration, so I would paint your office something like ';adobe dust'; or ';peach blossom'; by benjamin moore. With the aqua in the next room, the combo will look very southwestern.
