Me and my boyfriend bought a brand new mobile home a couple of years ago. Figured it was the same as paying rent out where we live and at least I will be able to get some of my money back when we move out. But of course like most mobile homes it came with boring walls. Is there a special brand of paint or trick I can use to cover or paint the walls.Can you paint mobile home walls?
I live in a fairly new mobile home as well and have found that the walls can be painted like any wall. Put on a good primer and paint with a good quality paint. I took the old wafer thin trim down as well and put up traditional moldings.Can you paint mobile home walls?
Yes but first you need to power wash and prime with a special primer for aluminum . Then topcoat with compatible coating.
Sure can!
Or texture or anything else you want to do. On interior walls. Although texture or similar will have to have latex or some other resilient substance added.
Either lightly sand `til the glaze is dull and/or use a Good quality primer first.
Good luck with it!

yes you can paint the walls are they wood paneling if so might need a sealer if they are sheetrock type just a good grade paint will do no trick nothing to hard if they are your walls you can pretty much do what you want.. pretty new id say they was half wood and half sheet if they are like that just paint the upper part of the wall no problems ... it all starts with a roller pan and paint go for it
You can paint anything! I would suggest that you use a primer on everything that you want to paint, and then use a latex paint (any sheen or color) with two coats. No problem.
Yes you can..
Give it a try...might need two coats.
~~~Good Luck~~~
I assume you mean the interior walls. What you need to do is get melamine or plastic primer to go over the vinyl wallcovering. You surely know you can't take that down by now. But if you prime it (2 coats) then you can paint it with a regular interior latex wallpaint. Personally, I'd suggest you go for a latex enamel that's scrubbable so that you have better adhesion, especially if you go to take off hand prints. It's a shame when you wash the paint off with the handprint. Enamel paints prevent that.
Nope you can never paint the walls. the extra weight will collapse the roof.
