Would Home Depot Darken My Paint Color?

I bought some tinted paint from HD and while the color is nice, I would like it a shade or two darker. If I take the paint back, would they make it a shade darker for me?Would Home Depot Darken My Paint Color?

Make sure that the person behind the counter is experienced in what they are doing. For the most part the computer does all the work in adding tints to the paint. It the associate knows what they are doing, they should have no problem. if it is somebody just covering the counter, then he/she might not be able to do it. I would call the store in advance.
They will happily add more tint to your paint to adjust the color.





If you haven't used any of the paint yet, they may be limited as to how dark they can make the paint. There's only limited amount of space in those cans for tint, but they will do what they can.
As long as you have the tint base marked down they should be able to do it........have them mix and look at it before leaving store........good luck..nite
