How much $ will I spend to hire out a painter to paint the interior of my home?

I just closed on my first house and am done painting my bedroom - now I look at the rest of the house (2300 sq foot) and am curious how much a pro would charge?How much $ will I spend to hire out a painter to paint the interior of my home?
3 years ago in NJ we had a 2 story foyer and 1 large living/dining room painted for $1800. Last year in Indiana we had our 2700 sf whole house with 2 story foyer painted for $5800. I would think about $4800 for 2300 sf? It varies a lot though, definitely get recommendations from friends don't just cold call someone.How much $ will I spend to hire out a painter to paint the interior of my home?
It's going to vary widely around the US. And, a 2300 sq. ft. house isn't always the same as the next 2300 sq. ft. house when it comes to painting. It will depend on how high the ceilings are, if you have vaulted ceilings, crown molding or not, wood windows or aluminum, and any other intricate things that need to be painted around. Also depends on if they have to move furniture and appliances.





It also depends on the quality of paint used, and if the walls need any type of repairs or to be primed before painting.





I spent $4500 to have a 1400 sq. ft. house painted. Did part of it myself and said to heck with it. Too much trouble.
