Does anyone know how to reduce or eliminate the new paint smell at home?

I just moved to an unit that has been painted few days ago, the smell is bad and harmful, I am looking for some methods to reduce the toxic odour, especially some chemic products, which might be available from supermarket, to absorb those toxic odourDoes anyone know how to reduce or eliminate the new paint smell at home?
The latex paint is-not supposed to be harmful and to some the smell is obnoxious. fresh air and time usually does the trick.

You might try a small dish with vanilla extract (not venillan) they say that works well.Does anyone know how to reduce or eliminate the new paint smell at home?
you may have a few of these items in your cupboards to use...try placing a few containers bicarb soda around the room...or a bucket of water with lemons (for the smell)...or even onions cut in half (they'll absorb just about any smell)
I know of only one way. Repaint with a Non-volatile-organic-compound paint. Glidden has one called ';Glidden 2000';, while Sherwin-Williams has ';Harmony';.....My wife and I have serious lung problems and allergies and this type paint is excellent! It cost only about $ 4.00 more per gallon--it's well worth the difference in price.
If it smells bad, it must mean they used a primer on the walls first, YUCK!!!!! I hate that smell. Well, I would suggest to buy some incense and burn 2 or 3 sticks at a time, also try using some potpourri, car air fresheners, preferably ones that smell nice and not like a typical car smell like cherry, YUCK. I just say to avoid and spray stuff, since its not as long lasting.
